I recently used this guys for a homebuyers report. I found them to be very helpful and they were easily the best price I found. My survey was carried out on the Monday and the report was ready within 2 days after that.The report itself was very clear and concise without any nonsense just useful and insightful information delivered. I almost didn't get a survey done, but considering how easy this report was to decipher, I'm very pleased I did.If you are looking for a really competitively priced company who are also very competent, choose Cartwright Hands.

I booked a studio apartment here for my partner's 30th birthday and I will start with the positives;*Very comfortable bed and pillows.*Good quality television.* Nice rainfall shower.Some negatives were;*No hand soap at the sink in the bathroom.*No sink in the kitchen area so cups and glasses had to be washed in the bathroom(?!)*Very modern radiator but it was not powerful enough for the size of the room.*We did stay on a Friday night, but loud music and rowdy club goers on the street outside resulted in poor quality sleep.It was disappointing given the apartment is advertised as luxurious, yet bare minimums had been missed. Certainly not worth the money I had paid for the room; I expected a higher standard for the price.

Bought a house Cartwright Hands were advertising back in May. Staff were very helpful and kept me up to date with status of the sale at all the times. Highly recommend.

Honestly.....I don't know how to describe my frustration.On Monday I put down an offer for a flat they showed me and paid the holding deposit, £295, straight away, right there. In seconds the money was gone from my account and paid into their account.Tuesday I had a call saying that the landlord has rejected my offer and if could match the requested price, but I didn't want to pay more than what I offered, so my bid was rejected and they told me that my money will be refunded to me shortly.A week has already passed and after chasing them by phone calls and messages, the only thing I've got is lies and promises: Your money will be refunded in 48 hours"" Your money will be in your account today before 1PM "" The accounts department pays only Tuesdays and Thursdays "bla

Shocking service! Also they discriminate against low income families. I know people will say that's a strong word but in this case it's totally justifiable.I rang to view a property, told there was viewings the following day, as soon as mentioned I am disabled and in receipt of benefits the whole tone changed. Was then told that the viewings for the following day were actually booked out and offered a viewing a week later. I knew something wasn't right so got someone else to call and enquire and because they stated full time employment boom what do you know there was a viewing available the next morning!!! I actually attended that viewing and the flat was badly misleading. Pictures advertised were obviously taken years ago and it was extremely run down.I have seen today that the flat has been let, but no courtesy email to advise 'MY' appointment on Friday needs to be cancelled. Obviously I don't need to worry but that's not the point.I am fully aware that Adams is not the only Estate Agents to penalise people in receipt of benefits, but honesty goes a long way. Could have just been straight up and said the landlord would not allow benefits etc. I also hate this prejudice that benefit claimants suffer as before my accident I worked my whole life and actually suffer with OCD and very House proud and never been in rent arrears. Please don't tarnish us all with the same brush.Apologies to ramble on but wanted to give people a heads up. Dishonest, poor communication, I would not recommend. Avoid

Very helpful in buying a flat which they were selling. Had 2 visits to the property which l was met an estate agent.Always arriving on time My questions and queries were answered to my satisfaction. I was also given good advice when phoning them up with any general questions. I think it's fair to say that provide a very good service.

As a tenant for many years with various big chain agents, my landlord decided to sell his house giving me a very short time to find another property.I tried several agents, but due to my limited funds they were all unhelpful at best.My situation changed the moment I walked into the Austerberry office, their attitude could not have been more different to the big chains I had previously tried.After explaining my situation to a member of the lettings team, I was immediately put at ease by the fact they actually cared about me. In fact the young lady I spoke to told me to stop worrying, we WILL find you something.True to her word, what followed was exceptional customer service, not only did she find me something, she arranged a viewing for the same day, and a couple of hours later I had left a securing deposit on a house.I found the whole tenancy process to be easy, professional and above all friendly.In my opinion the difference between a family run business and a big chain could not have been more marked.I have no hesitation in recommending Austerberry to anyone looking to rent a property, and I hope to be with them for many years to come.

I had a very disappointing experience with one of the leading estate agents while trying to sell my cottage, but then I was contacted by Lloyd Williams of Roderick Thomas and he was so charming I was happy to let him try selling it.It was a totally different and pleasing experience with RT, they handled all the viewings without me being there, I got instant feedback and when finally a buyer made an offer I got good advice. I think the greatest thing however was that I trusted them, knew they were enthusiastic about my cottage and they were straight forward in their dealings with me. An excellent company with delightful staff.
