Scotland Meets Sardinia - Supperclub
We had an absolutely superb experience with Luisa as our host and chef. The food was delicious, and Luisa talked passionately about the ingredients and process.I highly recommend the Supperclub, and we can not wait to come back again!

Domo Restaurant
I took a late November drive across the Peak District, via Snakepass, from Manchester to Sheffield to experience Domo in the cities Kelham Island district.I had high expectations, after reading a nice review by Jay Rayner and I was not disappointed. I enjoy dining solo but sometimes it can be intimidating, especially when a restaurant is rocking and buzzing. The Wednesday night I was at Domo, was one such night, with groups out for office Christmas dinner and a couple of large family groups out for birthdays.I felt at home and was made most welcome by the team. It was like being the solo guy at a nice family party, where everyone makes sure to welcome you into their home. I have never had Sicilian food before, but found the menu reminiscent of Maltese food. I missed family as I sat watching other people with theirs, but the team who looked after me were brilliant and the memories of holiday food with my mum and dad (we loved octopus in Malta) made me feel warm on a bitterly cold night. I highly recommend Domo for somewhere to dine when you find yourself in Sheffield.I enjoyed the following dishes, which were homely and filling, combined with the joy of a family team working a busy service.Bruschette AritzoSauteed procini and mixed mushrooms, chestnuts, truffle and a touch of cream (V) Can be made vegan.Polpo di PapaThe owners Dad’s special recipe of slow cooked octopus in a rich tomato sauce with chilli, garlic and olives served with crusty bread (GF on request).Cannolo SicilianoSicilian tube-shaped shells of fried pastry dough, filled with ricotta cheese and chocolate chip (v).

Oliveto
We went to OlivoCarne for my birthday and it was simply great. Great and elegant atmosphere, delicious food and the prices are okay. We went to Olivo by mistake and the staff were super nice and redirected us to OlivoCarne. Can't wait to try the other ones too!

Delrio's Restaurant
Lovely authentic atmosphere, supported by the decor and theme. You are likely to hear snippets of Italian spoken.Waiting service was friendly and good but, as it is so popular, you might find you need to wait a while at times - tell them if you are in a hurry; I'm sure they would try to accommodate you.The food is fabulous. Good pizzas are common enough, but there are a wide range of food options (less so if you are vegetarian or vegan, though there are vegetarian pizzas). The best vegetarian dish to talk about, on the menu, is undoubtedly the cheese and pear ravioli (Fiocci formaggio & pere). It contains a blue cheese, a parmesan and some other cheeses, along with some pear - it is coated in a really nice sauce too. The pasta wrapper is wonderfully thin so the focus is on the flavour of the filling, which has a sweetness to it from the pear. The blue cheese blends in really well so does not dominate the flavour. I am not a fan of ravioli as I usually find the pasta dominating and the filling bland, but this is truly the best ravioli I've ever had, and I would happily choose it myself next time I visit. (This time, my wife chose it and gave me some to try). The portions are generous and there are some nice sides too, such as the Rocket and Parmesan Salad.Note, the borrowed phone camera I used wasn't very good in low light and got the colours wrong. I hope the photos give you an idea of the dishes I'm talking about though. The wonderful ravioli I've discussed above is the photo with a pile of roundish shapes that have come out surprisingly orange in the photo!

Olivomare
Amazing Sardinian food, very special flavours, good house wine. The children in our group appreciated it less and we had no time for desserts, so I will be definitely coming back again to check if this is actually a 5 star place :) For now I can highly recommend spaghetti alla bottarga and the lobser spaghetti.

Delrio's Restaurant
The lady who served us must have been one of the friendliest people on earth.Sufficed to say, the service was great. The arched brick cellar underground experience isolates you from the world above and gives you the impression you could be dining in any location. The food tasted very nice and the calzone was spot on; ham, cheese, mushroom and spinach: not overcomplicated.Due to the architecture though it can be quite noisy when full.
